Description
The abuse of power by politicians is always nauseating, particularly when it involves the glorification of war. Indeed, readers may find some of these poems shocking, addressing as they do the grim reality of politics and power in Britain today. Here, in one of the richest countries in the world, food banks and homelessness put our politicians to shame. The idea for this book of poems was conceived about five years ago by Jack Howard, and more recently Sally Alexandre’s enthusiasm and abilities as a digital designer have helped to carry the idea through to fruition.
